The CommonApp Key dates

The common app opens a new application every year on the 1st of August.

So, if you plan to start your university or college studies next year in September, you can sign up and initiate your application from the 1st of August of the preceding year.

Keep in mind the deadline — every university has its own deadline. However, the typical deadline for submitting an application for most of the USA universities for September or Fall intake is set for January 1st.
