There are different types of applications on OUAC. Which application you should fill out depends on a number of things, such as your country of residence, where you have attended high school and more.

When you open the OUAC portal, it will direct you towards the type of application you should fill out depending on your answers to some questions asked on the portal.

How to Apply on OUAC?

The OUAC application system consists of many different steps.

  • Step 1: Research Universities and Courses

Start out by selecting which courses you would like to apply for at which university from the OUAC university list. You’ll need to take note of the OUAC codes of all the programs you want to apply for.

  • Step 2: Create an OUAC Account

After finalizing the courses, create an account on the portal. You will need to provide basic information such as your personal details and your academic information.

  • Step 3: Select Your Programs

Once you’ve created an account, select all the programs you want to apply for. Remember that the portal will charge you a specific fee based on your type of application and the courses you are applying to.

  • Step 4: Fill out the Application:

Fill out all the required details on the OUAC portal. This generally consists of different sections including information related to your academic records and more.

  • Step 5: Submit Your Application

Carefully review your application and then submit it on the OUAC portal. 

It is important for students to remember that every university has different admission requirements. Some will require you to also provide supporting documents like a statement of purpose to judge your suitability for the applied program.

OUAC Application Costs

The OUAC application costs are different for different types of applications. Every type has a certain base application fee and other additional costs. The base fees of different programs are:

In addition to these base fees, there are also other charges that may or may not apply to your application, depending on if you choose to apply to more than three programs and other criteria.
