What is Pre-Master
A Pre-Master’s program acts as a bridge, preparing students with the essential academic skills, knowledge, and language proficiency required to progress into a postgraduate degree. It is designed for international students who wish to pursue a Master’s degree but either:
- Do not yet meet the academic or English language requirements for direct entry, or
- Wish to change their degree discipline for their Master’s compared to what they studied in their Bachelor’s degree.
Upon successfully completing the pre-master program and achieving the required grades, students can seamlessly enter their chosen postgraduate degree at the university.During the Pre-Masters course, student have the option to change their progression degree.
Pre-Master Duration
Generally, 6-month to 1-year duration (one semester to two semesters)
Pre-Master Entry requirements
Successfully completed undergraduate degree at a recognised institution with at least a pass degree.
A minimum IELTS score of 5.5 overall with 5.5 in each band required.
