What is International Year One?

If you are considering studying an undergraduate degree in the UK but didn’t get direct entry to a Bachelor’s degree because of a lower academic or English score, International year one is the next step.

An International Year One is a one-year program that provides students a guaranteed pathway to Year 2 of UK university. The overall duration of the 3-year undergraduate degree will remain the same with the International Year One included.

Typically, the International Year One takes 9 months (3-terms) to complete, but some pathway providers also offer a shorter duration of 6 months (2-terms).
