Kuwait

Foundation Year

Successful completion of Kuwaiti Thanamiya Grade 12th with 60% and above. If you plan to take the Health Science foundation Pathway, you may need to have 80% and overall.

Successful completion of 5 O-Levels with grades C and above

Students from American Diploma needs to have minimum 3.5 CGPA

Undergraduate Degree

Successful completion of 3 A-Levels with AAB for most universities. However, university direct UG requirements vary depending on the chosen course.

UK foundation/pathway course with a pass mark of 55% and above.

Successful completion of Diploma from a PAAET Kuwait with GPA 2.50 or above

Postgraduate Degree

Bachelor’s Degree from recognised university in Kuwait with 2.80 CGPA or above.

Students applying for MBA in the UK should have 2 years of work experience

Pakistan

Foundation Year

Successful completion of Pakistani HSSC Grade 12th with 50% and above. If you plan to take Health Science foundation Pathway, you may need to have 55% and overall.

Successful completion of 5 O-Levels with grades C and above completion of Diplomas of Associated Engineer (DAE) with 65% or above. However, students with DAE qualification with higher grades can go for International Year One also.

Undergraduate Degree

Completion of HSSC pre-engineering/ICS/pre-medical with 70% and above.

Successful completion of 3 A-Levels with AAB for most universities. However, university direct UG requirements vary depending on the chosen course.

Postgraduate Degree

Successful completion of 2-year Bachelor’s Degree with 55% or above + 2-year Master’s degree with 60% or above.

4-year Bachelor’s Degree from HEC recognised university in Pakistan with 55% or above.

Study Gaps

Students with study gaps are considered at higher risk for visa refusal, so you will need to provide evidence demonstrating activities during this time. 

However, acceptable study gaps for most UK universities are:

Foundation: up to 2 year
Undergraduate: up to 3 years
Postgraduate: up to 5 years

UK Universities Master’s Application Process

UK universities Initial tuition fee deposit

International students who are issued an offer of acceptance are required to pay a refundable** tuition fee deposit before a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) can be issued. The deposit fee varies from 3,000 GBP to 8,000 GBP. Few universities even charge 50% of the first year tuition fee.

2-Year fast-track degree in the UK

Yes, that’s true. You can complete your undergraduate degree in 2 years, saving both money and time. Two-year Bachelor’s degrees in the UK, also known as Fast-track or accelerated degrees, are similar to 3-year degree courses. You would study the same course content and receive the same qualification upon completing a fast-track degree, which is equally accepted by all employers in the UK
